Wallows Rd, Brierley Hill

This project involved the successful completion of 30 one, two and three bedroom affordable homes, along with associated external works and infrastructure, for Liberty Developments / Citizen Housing. The works resumed following the insolvency of the original contractor, which had led to a ten-month site standstill.

More than 25 per cent of the new homes will meet the WMCA’s Zero Carbon homes requirements, using latest low carbon construction technology including modern methods of construction, supported by funding from the WMCA.

At the time of possession, the plots were at varying stages of build—ranging from oversite to second fix. Some units had deteriorated during the pause in construction and required additional rectification works or demolition.

Completion is expected by the end of 2025.
