This Contract involves the completion of 15 affordable residential units comprising a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, including all associated external works and infrastructure. The development is being delivered on behalf of Sandwell Council, following the insolvency of the original contractor.

The contract is being administered under the JCT 2016 Traditional With Quantities form. The scheme commenced on site on 7th April, with a targeted completion date of April 2026.

At the time of possession, 11 out of the 15 plots were at varying stages of oversite, with the site having remained dormant for approximately 15 months. During this period, some of the oversite works deteriorated and required remedial action before construction could proceed.

The homes are being constructed using traditional masonry techniques and incorporates sustainable technologies, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels, aligning with the coun- cil’s environmental and energy-efficiency objectives.
